On June 18, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit was in the area of Mt. View Church Rd. following up on an investigation. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle, and upon catching up with the motorist, the vehicle drove into a driveway and accelerated, failing to heed lights and sirens.
